Your knee isn't the problem. Where the force goes is.

Every time you take a step, climb a stair, or push off from a chair, your body drives a massive amount of force straight through one tiny point below your kneecap.

One point. The size of a penny.

Knee sleeves wrap around the entire joint. They spread pressure everywhere, which means they concentrate it nowhere.

This is not a knee brace. It's smaller. On purpose.

A knee brace wraps your entire joint in neoprene and hopes for the best. Like putting a plaster on your whole arm when you've cut one finger.

The Tepain Precision Strap does one thing. It puts pressure on the exact spot where force concentrates and redirects it.

Think of a door that rubs and sticks. You can oil the hinges, sand it down, or force it shut every time. Or you can straighten the frame so it swings freely with zero effort.

Tepain straightens the frame.

It stays where you put it.

The number one complaint about every knee strap on the market: it slides.

During hikes. During long work days. During a simple walk to the shops. You spend more time readjusting it than wearing it.

The Tepain silicone pad grips directly onto your skin and locks into position.  Emma D. wore hers hiking the Peak District for four days straight on muddy trails.

It didn't budge.

Wear it for 10 hours. Forget it's there.

Most knee supports turn your leg into a sauna within 30 minutes. "I bought a sleeve and took it off because my leg was dripping." Sound familiar?

Tepain uses open-weave, breathable materials that let air through. No sweat pooling. No itch. No rash.

Wear it under your work trousers. Under  leggings. Under jeans. Nobody will know it's there. But your knee will.

I wasn’t sure if this would actually help, but I’m really glad I tried it. It fits comfortably under my knee and gives me that extra support when I’m walking around. I’ve been wearing it almost every day.

I’m a nurse in my 40s and spend most of my 12-hour shifts on my feet. By the end of the day, my knees are usually aching. I started wearing this strap to work and it gives me that extra support I need. It’s comfortable, stays in place, and I barely notice it under my scrubs. Really happy with it.

I’ve been trying to lose weight, but my knee pain kept getting in the way of my workouts. Since I started using this strap, I feel much more supported doing my walks and light exercises. It feels so good to finally get back into a routine and keep working toward my goals!

Frequently asked questions

Everything you want to know before you try Tepain.

How is this different from a knee brace or sleeve?

A brace or sleeve wraps your whole knee and squeezes everything. It's bulky, it gets hot, and on bigger legs it often rolls down or cuts in behind the knee.

The Tepain Strap is different. It's one slim strap that sits just below your kneecap and puts gentle, focused pressure on the one spot that takes the strain every time you stand, walk or take the stairs. Think of it like pressing on the one sore spot instead of wrapping a bandage round your whole leg.

I've tried knee supports before. They never fit. Why would this be different?

You're not alone. Most knee straps are made for runners' legs. On larger legs they can't close properly, so they slide off the right spot, roll down or dig in. That's why they let you down. It wasn't your knees, and it wasn't your fault.

The Tepain Strap was made with larger legs in mind, so it can sit where it's meant to and stay there.

Will it fit my legs?

The Tepain Strap fits legs up to 38 cm around, measured just below the kneecap.

Not sure? Wrap a soft tape measure around your leg just under your kneecap. If you're between sizes or have any doubts, message us before you order and we'll help you check.

Will it roll down or dig in?

That's the number one complaint we hear about other supports, so we designed around it. The grip pad holds onto your skin so the strap stays where you put it, and the soft edges are made not to cut in behind your knee.

Tip: wear it directly on your skin, not over clothes. That's what keeps it in place.

Can I wear it through a full shift on my feet?

Yes, that's exactly who it's for. Whether you're on a ward, behind a till, in a salon or on a shop floor, you can put it on in the morning and keep it on until you get home.

It's slim and light, so most women forget they're wearing it. Standing still for long stretches is often the hardest part on your knees, and that's when focused support helps most.

Will people see it under my clothes?

Usually not. It's slim enough to wear under scrubs, work trousers, straight-leg jeans, joggers and maxi skirts or dresses. No bulky brace showing through, and no one needs to know.

In shorts or a shorter skirt you'll see it, but it's small and neat, so it doesn't look like a medical brace.

It looks small. Does it actually do anything?

We get this a lot, and it's fair to ask. But small is the point. A big brace spreads pressure everywhere. The Tepain Strap puts it on one spot just below your kneecap, so it doesn't need to be big.

Smaller also means cooler, lighter and easier to hide under your clothes.

Should I wait until I've lost weight?

No. Your knees need support today, not someday. Whether you're working on your weight or not, you deserve to get through your day without dreading the stairs.

And if you are trying to walk more or get more active, a strap that stays put can make those first steps a lot easier.

How do I put it on correctly?

It takes about 10 seconds:

  1. Find the bottom of your kneecap.
  2. Place the pad about two fingers' width below it.
  3. Wrap and fasten until it feels snug, not tight.

Still not sure? Message us and we'll walk you through it.

What if it doesn't work for me?
